I just received trigger and was installing it last night. I am putting it into a CMMG lower and the trigger pins won't stay put. I ordered a small pin trigger and the trigger pins just fall out once it's installed. I followed the directions and even had a youtube video going too. What am I doing wrong? do I need special pins for this? Thanks much for any advise

Is the lower brand new or older? There are 2 sizes of trigger but as far as I know the two are regular and large pins for weapons that are older and the holes have gotten bigger from wear. Most kits also come with a pin used to hold the trigger in place while you slide the regular pin in."Men sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

OP... is this what you go? A CMC drop-in unit?

If so, I think you need their special retaining pins. The drop-in unit doesn't have the spring inside to hold mil-spec pins.

The kits usually include pins with c-clips. The pins should have a groove on them to attach the clips and secure them from backing out.Comment
