    SAIGA CONVERSION HELP

I have a IZ-132 7.62x39. I already have the grip, stock and rail. What else do I need to buy in order to move my trigger forward. Also any recommendation where to buy?

youll also need the grip screw, grip nut, handguard retainers, depending on your handguard you'll need the ak gas tube, bullet guide for ak mags...

i think thats it. i just did the conversion last week. fairly easy but the rivets are made out of some space age indestructible metal, so get a really, really good 3/16 drill bit.

i also used krylon fusion satin black to paint the bottom after removing the bottom plate

Thanks. My friend has a drill press so that should work out really good.
I bought this from AMAZON and hope I can use it. If not I will just buy the complete conversion kit

No offence, but lots of junk in that. The optic light, and laser is for airsoft.
I would also question if the furniture parts in that are US made for 922r compliance.

A lot of people like to talk crap on tapco, but there AK stuff ( minus the folding stock ) aren't bad at all. I'd use that as a baseline product for cost/quality.

I would. Also 922r may be an issue.

I got the Carolina shooters package for my AK, and a few conversions I've helped people with. It may be more expensive, but everything is there for a basic rear end conversion, and you can use the tapco saiga forearm without doing any other work. It's a little wobbly compared to a properly converted front end, but it doesn't require a bolt on retainer, new gas tube, or involve pressing off the gas block/FSB and putting on a normal retainer.

I didn't know they actually packaged up all that crap in a single kit!
I thought people were getting all the pieces separately...
