    suggestions please

Hey guys, I know a lot of people say never sell guns and stuff like that. Well I am selling a gun that I don't like to much, I spent time shooting it and found its just not for me. So now I have about 550 to get some toys. Its not a lot but at least its something.

I already own a min 14, 12g shotgun that is my wife's, and a cz97b. I was thinking with the money I am getting I would get a 10/22 and 2 ar15 lowers. I am getting to so my wife can have one in her name for next year. Is there anything you guys think would be a good idea to skip or get?

    Thanks guys,
    Walter

Walter, Do you and your wife like to shoot together? I'm all about the 10/22 but if you really want to have fun with a very accurate gun, get a Henry H001.

I like your idea on the lowers. I'd get a stripped lower and an 80% lower. Ammo Brothers has a good deal on them.

BTW, do you have a safe?
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Yeah we love shooting together. She loves to shoot skeet the most so I bought her a 12g for one of our anniversaries. I don't have a safe yet, I have been shopping around for one. We set money aside for a safe a while ago but haven't found one that fits our needs or our space, also we decided to invest in a good quality safe so we need to safe some more money. I have looked into 80% lowers and am still undecided at the moment. I will look into a H001.

10/22 is always a good idea, so as the two lower. I am not sure if I got it right, but if that registration gets through, it's got to be a complete rifle, not just a lower. And may I suggest that the mini- 14 be your wife's rifle instead of the shotgun. She is going to have more fun with the mini.

I have a suggestion, how about a more innocuous thread title?

It's OK to sell a gun you don't like.

As far as I understand it and the way its been explained to me is that only the firearm portion has to be registered. So just the lower will be registered. I maybe wrong but if I am someone will chime in who knows some more than I do.
