    20" barrel

I'm looking for a 20" 5.56/.223 barrel. Any suggestions and leads? Was hoping for a fluted heavy barrel but I know it's slim pickings these days.

            Bravo Company has some:

One in stock at the time of this posting.

That SAM-R is a great barrel (I have one) but hardly what I'd call "heavily fluted" or light weight.

Yeah, missed the part for heavy flute.

But after re-reading it, I think he meant heavy contour with fluting? Which kinda doesn't makes sense to me?

                    Can also check here: http://www.blackholeweaponry.com/cat...b9a7d4b2eaa2c2

Black Hole Weaponary... but shows a lead time of 10-12 weeks but gives you the option of finish, fluting location, fluting type and thread option (addition cost applies)

Randall from AR15barrels had a nice post a few weeks ago ranking barrel makers. Here's his link, http://www.ar15barrels.com/, and you can search his posts. Kreiger/Bartlein at the top of that list. Find a barrel 20in or >20 in the contour you want, then have it cut to length and fluted to your needs.

I think this is the post you're referring to:
