Will the vltor stock adapter fit on the amd 65 or is it a side folding wire stock only?

I think the Vltor stock adapter is only made for 1mm receivers and fixed stock trunnions. Figure out what you have and what Vltors product description is and let us know if it will work.

Ok..its a pistol build so idk im getting the parts tomorrow...if i cant then its whatevers lol..im also wondering if i have to put a bullet button on since its an "other" not an AOW ...i can put thr.afg on it just needs to be a.minimum of 26 inches in thegth right?

You may want to reconsider a stock adapter on a pistol, think about that one....

And if the barrel is under 16in the state will still see it as a pistol in which case you need a maglock.

Do some homework of state law vs fed law.

You are essentially dealing with two things here

NFA law (federal)
AW Ban (state)

The stock adapter is BEGGING for trouble. It serves no viable purpose on an AK. Maybe you dont know this, but buffer tubes are key to standard AR15 operation, which is why AR pistols have them.

Franklin's letter simply affirms that using the forward grip on the X026 does not violate NFA law, making it specifically an "AOW" (which in this case refers to a pistol with a forward grip).

So as per FED law, it is a title 1 long gun other.
However, as per Ca definition it is still a pistol.
As such, it must comply with the AWB in regards to pistols.

If you have a title 1 long gun (over 26inches but not designed to be fired from the shoulder) that also features a barrel over 16inches, then you would have a leg to stand on in claiming that your firearm is not covered by the awb

ok im confused because i thought since im making it out of an 80% lower into an ak pistol that has a 11+ inch barrel and a afg ... that should be fine as long as i have the bullet button right?.. or does the barrel have to be 16 inches?..I thought there was no minimum pistol barrel length...Im not going to add the stock if i can have it as a pistol build legally with an afg and a bullet button...http://www.armslist.com/posts/189676...-build-your-ak is the one im trying to buy

When you first build the barrel can't be under 6 inches (see the SSE sticky in the handgun section) but after you complete SSE you can go nuts.

That AMD set up would be fine with a maglock.
If the over all length is greater than 26in then you can use a vfg.
Afg is fine either way

awesome Senor Plink (im messican) lol... good looking out on all the info brother i really appreciate it I was kind of worried I wouldnt be able to have this legally... Legal is the way to go... Im going to make an ar 15 as well out of an 80% lower... I have a spikes right now but i want to make another ar.. I have all the pieces right now but the buttstock the compensator and the handguard...my receiver,bcg, buffertube(aluminum) and my fire control group( alg defence combat trigger) are all nickel boron...all but the fcg are nickel boron coated by wmdguns...i paid alot of money for these parts lol!!!!! the barrel im going to have cut to 14 and pin and weld a ares armor effin a mark 2 comp... its going to be sick.. ill be sure to post a pic of that build and the pistol when im done with them..i have some expenses right now since im paying all the bills at my house but give me around 2-3 months lol

Thats all me... its not much but its better than nothing lol...im going to get rid of the sks and 22 mosberg so itll just be the ak pistol my ar my glock23 and my lcr357mag...which im kind of ok with lol

Notice there is no way to hold a mag in the well...i took out that part until i can build it all complete
