    PKM in California?

So i was browsing around for parts and stumbled across Vltor's PKM. They are not fully automatic, but rather semi-auto. And they cannot accept a magazine.
They are sold out from the website that they are being sold from. But i would like to know if these are considered legal in California. The website didn't have much on legality of shipping. I guess given the high price point of the product, they would be willing to ship it anywhere lol

Per the Flowchart, it seems that it would be considered legal or amidoingitwrong?

Could be made legal, configuration is everything.
Iirc Vltor isn't actually doing those anymore.
custom builds and parts kits are out there but will be stupid expensive (I'm sure you knew that though).

As an AK fan, I'd love to have one.

I imagine the CA legal configuration would be similar to the RPD--no PG and a 10 round belt

you might want to read some of the threads over at http://www.beltfedshooters.com/forum...play.php?f=284

SG-43s seem to be the beltfed du jur right now... no pistol grip to deal with and cheap (for now) 54r ammo.

They are legal in Ca as long as go the featureless route. VLTOR only builds F/A PKM's for gov't contracts now so your best bet is to find a complete semi-auto. They do come up for sale every now and then but they are getting pricy.

Thanks for the info guys, I was just wondering about the legality of owning one. Even though it would be in the semi-auto config, it's a bit pricey for me. But one day maybe

FYI, the cheapest one that I've seen listed for sale recently was listed for about $9,000.
