Problem with Command Arms stock

I have a command arms extendable stock and upon recieving it have realized that the screw that holds that rocker arm into the stock assembly is too long. This means that the thing will not slide in and out unless the spring loaded screw is pulled back with pliers or vice grips. anyone have experience with this or have any suggestions?

Sounds like you got a lemon and need to exchange it for another. Some CAA dealers are very good with their support. I've never heard of any experiences dealing with them directly.
