My first featureless AR- thordsen style

Bought a franklin armory lower earlier this year and have been figurung out what to do with it. So i decided to go featureless since i have a box of unused 30s i bought back in the 90s. What way to go was the only question. Then i saw the thordsen frs-15 and went with it. Got my stock yesterday and put things together tonight. Havent shot it but ergonomically it is very nice, if you have big hands. If your fingers are short you wont be able to reach the mag release( boy that sounds great doesnt it?) but all in all it seems to work well dry firing and dropping mags.

The magpul afg isnt considered a vfg from what i read. Thats why franklin could put one on one of their shorty aows they made last year. If not im sure many will chime in.

Nobody knows on the afg. Its been discussed to no end here.
PC is not clear on the issue. No case law either.
Now I promise you somebody will give you their interpretation of the PC, and that's fine but its speculation at best.

The FRS itself is pretty controversial arround here
too. Just add a battle comp and you will have people crapping themselves.

When SB374 passes and ius signed by JB my FRS-15 will be coming off. Maybe I can sell it to someone in New York.

I just got my stock too. Threw it on a spare lower I had and noticed it was a little more difficult for me to actuate the safety selector vs a regular PG. Other than that, I really like it though.

As much as I respect the opinions of chaos, fate and other esteemed and learned minds of CG, again I urge you to read the debates yourself.

Again, no matter what conclusion you come to nobody can say for sure without seeing what the courts would do with it

Can you explain why the status of the FRS-15 would change?

From what I have read in the text, any semi-automatic rifle that does not have a fixed magazine will have to be registered as an assault weapon. M1A's, featureless AR's, etc.

The bill extends more than just that, included amendments to OAL. Take a gander for yourself to get the whole picture.
