Remington 700 date code need some help.

I have a Remington 700 with detachable mag. the date code is CX and the serial number starts with D, I know the first letter is for the month which C = April the problem I am having is finding out the year there are multiple years for X which are 1929, 1973 and 2003 can anyone pin point the year for me.

Ditto on Emailing Remington. I had the same type of issue for parts on my 1100. They clarified it by the serial number, not sure if they needed date of purchase. But the detachable magazine is a newer model, 03 probably.

This is easy.
There were NO model 700's made in 1929.
The model 700 began production in the very early 1960's.
There were no factory detachable magazine 700 models in 1973.

Thank you I knew that it couldn't have been the 1929, but I had no idea that the detachable mag was more recent addition to the model 700, so April 2003 it is thanks.
