The rifle should be fine. That looks like it was a bad case, nothing more. It happens. There doesn't appear to be any headspacing related issues on it. Just the longitudinal split. Reload and keep shooting.

Alright, it sound like just a bad round. But should I be worried about the damage done to my rifle from this round? Or is a Mosin is strong enough to take it.

Your Mosin is Fine, the Mosin action is pretty darn strong. I wonder how it compares to modern day guns, especially some of the crap guns that companies are putting out today like the Remington 770

So I was shooting my Mosin last weekend, after the last round has been fire off, I can't open the bolt to eject the shell casing. It took 2 person working together to open the bolt, after it popped out, here is what I see (attached photo)

The shell casing is not completely busted open, but the powder and the pressure has clearly breach it during the primer ignition.

So, that raises a lot of questions for me. How often does this happen normally, is this serious? Should I be worried about the damage to my Mosin now?

I've seen this more tha a few times and has always seemed to be "case lot" related.
I tried the ammo in other rifles and same thing happened.
Commie made ammo made by slave labor. Good thing it's cheap.
