    1919A6 configuration question

Rich at Beltfeed Shooters had gotten his 1919A6 kit up and running, but part of the kit includes a handle. Would this handle be construed as a pistol grip or create any issues here? I don't think so, but I was hoping some of the smarter members here could share some insight.

The handle will allow you to hold onto the gun while you remove the detachable can without taking the hole unit off the gun.

what's the handle for? looks kind of useless to me- no good as a carry handle, and you'll drop the whole thing if used as a forward PG..

I would rather cut it off and use the israeli A6 carry handle if you need to work on it/change cans, and you won't have to worry about legality either.

I believe the handle is to make it easier to lift and hold the gun while you remove/insert the ammo can. Also helps get weight off the shoulder stock due to the extra weight of the can, mount, and ammo.

The ammo can is designed so that it can be separated from the adaptor/mount to reload a belt/dump the links, etc. without having to take everything off the gun.

the handle doesn't qualify as a pistol grip just as a bipod or monopod would not be considered a pistol grip.

If you hold a bipod leg as the Army teaches for an assault mode with a MG, then it just became a forward pistol grip.

I can easily make you one without the adapter support leg so theres never any worries.
Also I have these little gems available for the deidicated .308 shooters (this one you can mount on your AA tripod as well)

The gun is a male, that is it's penis, and it looks to be excited.

I assume the can has to be modified to work?

I like how it recycles the ammo can for link storage
