What spring is this for? Vector V-93 40 rounds mag

It came with the Vector V-93 I received from Atlantic Firearms. It is in addition to the V-93 mag spring. I ask Atlantic, neither do they know what its for. Maybe someone here know what this spring is for. Thanks

It does look like a mag spring. Does it look different from your V93 mag kit spring? Its possible the LGS clerk made a mistake packaging and added another spring?

V-93 mag spring is much larger and longer. This spring is extra parts in the V-93 mag rebuild kit bag.

My 40 rnd mag had one of those installed under the follower. Sold it. I think it's to assist anti-tilt but not sure.
