After my barrel was shortened, I can get 2-3 MOA from my Mini-14.

I also have a ASI. Got it for 3 gun.
18" BBL. 1" for 4" .90" to the gas block. .750 to end. 1 in 9 twist.
Flutted. Varmit brake, Not too heavy.
Custom stock, trigger work.
Scoped. Simmons Diamond Pro 1.5-5
Shoots about 1-1 1/4" with most factory ammo.
Not problem hitting 10 steel plates at 325 yds. (68 gr. Black Hills)
I was able to run with the big dogs with this set up at the 3 gun nationals.
