I feel dumb, what am I doing wrong??

I picked this up today after my 10 days and I can't get it to eject the mag. I don't have the "red" tool but I tried a bullet and a punch to push the center part and neither would do anything. What could it be? Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

looks like a prince 50 mag lock.

not completely sure how it works but you have to use an allen wrench to unlock it.

Red tool won't work. It's the OG Prince50 magazine lock. Not the bullet button. You can only top load this bad boy with this configuration. Which means pull the take down pin each time you wish to load more rounds into the magazine. The small screw above the center will need to be removed with a small allen wrench if you choose to install the bullet button or Raddlock.

Ok, I found that somewhere and I thought that might be the case. I don't feel quite as stupid then. Guess I'll be looking into a replacement. Any suggestions? Something nice and easy preferred. Thanks to you both!

I think that's a magazine lock, not a BB

Yep, looks like "an OG magazine lock which was intended to be either top loaded with the action open or for those with very small fingers breach loaded.

Raddlock, about $35 and with a couple of turns you can drop mags like a normal mag release only when out of state.

Or bullet button, about $15-20.

Cool, I think I'll go with the raddlock. Any suggestions on how to get this guy out? I found a really small Allen wrench but I think the screw may have been over tightened and I can't get enough torque on it to turn it. Do I have to drill it out?

Looks like a a 0.050 allen, will try that but i think it may be stripped. Will let you know

Could be a little loctite in there, try heating it with a hairdryer first.

Top load that like its 2005. Literally, undo rear takedown fold the upper forward and insert rounds into mag 1 by 1.

People forget how far we've come in 10years in CA.
