    Stripped gettin cheaper...

    So I see that stripped lowers are getting cheaper so what's up with the 80%s??

    80%=no paperwork. Never intended to be a cheaper option.

      Besides having no paperwork of it:

        Even the 80% have gotten cheaper. A few months ago you were hard pressed to not walk away paying around $200 for a shipped 80%.

                      They are looking for people to fund their project with the hopes that they will raise the funds and then eventually be able to make the product. Kinda like Kickstarter..


                      BTW if you look close at the image posted at the magazine well you can tell that someone used mspaint to cover something up... Probably someone elses logo.

                        I spent $280 on my 80% start to finish. As was stated above, no paper trail. And it was fun to mill it, have it engraved and find an anodizer. On the other side of that coin, it was also a PITA.

                          The whole image looks like a CAD (computer aided drafting) Screen render of somebody's Solidworks computer design.

                          When I was an engineer I'd spend all day working on that sort of thing. The only thing you deduce form that image is that somebody is in the design phase. It always makes me nervous when a supplier does not have any real-life parts yet...
