    Iam spoied rotten

I just got back from shooting my savage110 in 270win. Ive got to tell you that have forgotten how long you have to waite between shots when sihgting it in for the first time,it took forever. I have a rem PSS in 308 and i can shoot it all day and ill never leave the target(8in steel round)at 200 yards, and a bunch of little rocks,THAT PSS IS THE BOSS........

Hmmm, I have had to sight in my savage 12 in 223 a 4-5 times and it only takes me about 6 shots to get within an inch and then a couple more to get under 1/2 inch.

Those Rem PSS keep calling my name though. It think they are just a great looking rifle. Some day....some day

Ahhhhh ok. Yeah the 270 is a fast round and does tend to heat up faster.

Of course they still make it. It is under the law enforcement page of Remington. It was never on the page that you linked to....

Exactly... They don't make the PSS anymore... Or if they do, they're not calling it a "PSS"...

But thanks for that link, smiley.

PSS- did someone say SNIPER?!$!@$!@ Why on earth would someone need a sniper gun?! What are you gonna do with it?!

haha. I think the 700P's trigger is a little on the heavy side from the factory for political reasons. You wouldn't want a non-leo civilian with a "police" rifle and light trigger now would ya?

I think I like the VS better. But I can't afford either so I shouldn't be talking.
