Can't find barrel for AK-74

Gents,

I'm having a hard time locating barrel for my Bulgi AK-74 kit, they was all over the places last week and now all reputable vendors has them listed as out of stock. This is just me? Can anyone point me to where I can get the right barrel for the right price.

Nope I'm having the same issue for US barrels.

I swore AK builder had them in stock when I looked 3 days ago but it's now listed as OOS.

If you find a spot with CL barrels around $130 post up here or PM me. I really want to get all my stuff to make it for a local build party Aug 26th.

Classics is OOS for both CL and non CL. whatacountry have non CL, should I go for it? please advise. Thanks

I dont know what alternatives you are hoping for, but I wouldnt skimp on a barrel, even for an AK.

Royal Tiger (aka IO inc.) has (or had last i checked) USA Mossberg barrels for about $100. They have all the cuts and gas port drilled, but will of course need to have the barrel pin drilled once fitted. I don't believe they are chrome lined but should otherwise be fine.

I think though that they're in the middle of moving, so they may not be available at the moment.

Not a recommendation, but at least an option.

Edit: I should have known better! According to many posts on the AKFiles, People are getting barrels with the gas port drilled out to 5mm, when it should be 2.2mm. Avoid these barrels!

Yea when I sent you that link they had them... I thought... Then I went to order my parts kit and barrel and it was OOS...

Then I went to AK and they were out too..


I hit classic with an email and they said they have no idea when their next shipments come in.

2nd on the Kvar, bought one of those back pre-panic for my AK74 kit from Atlantic Firearms...can't beat thee original combloc stuff!
