Ar Pistol buffer and spring question...

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone out there can help me answer a question about my ar pistol. I have a problem with the spring and buffer I believe. Almost every other shot the gun jams, as when the bullet gets extracted and the next bullet is being loaded.

I believe the spring maybe too long? I was wondering if anyone knew what the norm for the spring length should be for an ar pistol.

    Thanks guys.

Buy a new car buffer spring or switch it out with one you already own.

A rifle spring won't let you lock the bolt back.
