No, just make sure that you get scope rings tall enough that your objective lens clears the top of your receiver.

here is a 56mm objective on a PEPR mount. Fits fine on my 6.8.

The extra light gathering and lessened winking out with the larger objective is really worth the nominal additional weight IMO.

Here is a pic of the VXL 56mm objective on my LR308.

Of course it has the bottom scalloped. I'm using Burris med. rings.

Am using a PRS rifle stock.

I also have an existing Burris mount that I've never used.

Forgot to add, which Harris are you guys using, height?

It is the standard Burris PEPR scope mount
I do not know the length of scope off the top of my head, but it is a trijicon accupoint 2.5-10x 56mm. I am sure specs will be easy enough for you to find if needed.
Fantastic scope though. Light gathering is equal to what you would see with the naked eye.

I should add, the scope clears the picatinny rail up front by about 1/4"-1/2" - no scalloping needed
