Go to Angeles on Wed. night and see people shooting that stuff. It looks like a large firecracker went off when it riccochets, the sparks are impressive.

Thanks for all the great posts! Won't be using my steel in brush or grass during fire season.

Because you seem to be contradicting it. If you have a better interpretation of it than I do please point it out. I just want to make sure the correct info gets out and stays out.

Steel case should be good to go, as a good habit I'd just make sure you're not ejecting them into dry grass. No need to give them any more reasons to limit stuff.

Most Wolf ammo has steel jacketed projectiles. There was some Wolf from Russia a few years back that was packaged in a half yellow half black box and had pure copper jacketed projectiles, but that stuff is pretty hard to find these days. There is also Wolf Gold from Serbia that has pure copper jackets, but that stuff is brass cased. If your ammo has steel cases then it's not Wolf Gold.

I've fired thousands of rounds of Tulammo through my 9mm's as well as my AR-15 with no failures. Sounds like you're using sub-par firearms.

Use a magnet to check just to be sure on what the projectile is.
