    noveske n6 muzzle brake question

hey guys, i want to change the stock flash hider that came on my n6 barrel and was wondering if this will work

are the threads of the noveske barrel standard? also how come there are diff outside diameters on the brakes? does the larger one help more or is it purely aesthetics?

if anyone has any different recommendations please let me know since i'm all ears. my main concern is recoil since i would like to have a quicker follow up shot.

    thanks for any help!

Don't know a darn thing about brakes, but larger outer diameter would mean more weight and strength..? More like a bull barrel?

At any rate, don't do it! Lol.

Yes, the threads should match up perfectly unless they are out of spec from manufacturer. Which is highly unlikely. I put one of those on a friends 5R and as it does a great job with the recoil, it's loud as hell! Very obnoxious if you are shooting with others around you. There are other brakes that are just as effective and not so disruptive. jmho.....

Check out this video, it is 1 of 5 and these guys go through alot of brakes. After doing all the research I went with the DPMS Jerry Miculek’s one. It's $40 and it has great reviews.

If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

Thanks everyone. I just thought that noveske barrels were thicker and was concerned about fitment issues. Will definitely check out suggested brakes.

Find Ar15barrels on here and pm him. Randall will know what fits right. When we build my N6 we used a JP brake.

been looking online for surefire muzzle brake for my ar10.
anyone know where they're in stock? also, are they discontinuing them?

one more thing....does everyone use peel washers when installing them?
where is the best place to get them? for ar 10 and ar 15.

                          thanks
