    SELLING RIFLE OUT OF STATE

I'm curious on the legality or possibility of this situation I may find myself in.

When I travel out of state with my rifle or even handgun can I sell it to an FFL directly? If so, what type of paperwork would I need to receive from them? Or does it need to be sold from a CA FFL to that FFL?

    Thanks folks.

You can sell it directly to an FFL. You can sell to a non-licensee but it would still need to be transferred through a FFL.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

      Step 1 make agreement

Step 2 check local laws to make sure your not sending a non complaint firearm to a restricted state

      Step 3 receive payment

Step 4 optain FFL info and address as well as sellers

Step 5 verify its a legit FFL and let them know a rifle is inbound for so and so

Step 6 photo copy DL and written note of sale and whom to

Step 7 ship it out and be done with sale

      Step 8 leave feedback rating

Not every step in 100% necessary but is full CYA and process I was told when I shipped my first gun to another state via receiving FFL

No planning on shipping. I'm just inquiring as to whether or not I can sell directly to an FFL out of state while I am in that state. e.g. I'm a CA Resident and in Texas with my firearms (registered in CA) Can I sell to the FFL that I am at?

          Yes.
You think you know, but you have no idea.

Nothing currently, I'm just inquiring as I am picking up that 2nd Magpul Lower and will be in Vegas and if there is anything worth while I might trade an FFL for something they have.
