        San Jose, CA area

Big 5......~$15 for a box of 20 WWB 55 grain FMJ

Ten year old 500 brick of .22LR, were selling for $125 at the the San Jose gun show 2 weeks ago. Other Bay Area gun shops currently sell small quantities of .22lr for anywhere between .20cents to .30 cents a shot.

Don't blame me, I didn't vote for Barry.

          Cents. There's a LOT available

I've been buying .22lr bricks for about 45-50 bucks shipped. Some .223 for around .45-55 cents per round. Plenty available, I agree.

The last time I bought some was the week before fathers day. It was XM 193, $18.99 for 30 RDS on stripper clips. That was at Far West in Santa Barbara.

Looks like good intel, ammo prices in the Bay Area appear to be higher than in the LA & Sacramento area. Good Hunting.

For the first time in 6 months FreedomMunitions.com has 223 reloads. They are about .54/rnd. I've noticed that their supply of ammo in the most popular calibres is increasing. Since there had been a very acute shortage of 9 mm, freedom came out with some and sold out in hours, everyday they are adding more 9 mm and along with 40 cal, 308 and others is almost always shown as in stock. It is getting better, albeit slowly.

I've seen 223 in the $0.42 to $0.45 range but it goes fast.

I've seen 22LR at about $20 to $28 for 375 count (cci mini mags and fed automatch) but you usually can only buy one box, AND....they go extremely fast. 22LR is pretty much ridiculous to obtain but its out there.

If you catch it in time, Sportsman's Warehouse can carry 1000 of .223 for $499.99+tax. They sell out quickly. Not a great price but better than most places. There is a LGS in Roseville selling 1000 rounds for $650+tax.

The prices have gone down a little along with the slight increase in the availability. I've been telling my friends to stop stocking to drive the demands down, thus will increase supplies and lower prices. They listened and it works. Lol.
