    Need Help Identifying AR Part

    Fellow Calgunnies.

I need help identifying this, what appears to be a brass/case deflector located to the rear of the ejection port. I've got an AR that's causing some serious brass marks on that area and wanted to see if this would help. Any info on what it is and where to get it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, does anyone have Harry's number for Bulls Eye Ammo? I've misplaced his business card and wanted to ask him some questions. Please PM me if you have it.

    Thanks again, guys!

Just tape the soft part of Velcro on your deflector, that'll stop it.

I think that's a 9mm upper in that picture. I don't think you could put that deflector on a rifle caliber AR.

That upper looks like it was styled after the early 'slick side' A1 uppers, they had no forward assist or deflector. The deflector was an after the fact add on. If Brownell's doesn't have it, I don't know who would.

I see. After looking at a couple more pics from arf.com, it is for a 9mm upper. Thanks for the help, guys.
