after repeated attempts to contact ANYONE from their company via phone or email over the post 6 weeks with no success, i started the chargeback process today

after a while of looking around, i find this place called gotamag.com that claims to have 10 round pmags in stock. i placed an order about 3 weeks ago for a couple of mags. nothing big.

i get an order confirmation email that looks like it was written from someones phone. no line item detail, no contact info. just my address and the items i ordered. whatever. maybe theyre a small company. no big deal.

a week goes by....

i call the number on the website. rings and rings. voice mail picks up and i leave my name, order number and phone number, asking for a status update on my order.

a few days go by....

i call again, this time there is no voicemail. it just rings indefinitely.

i decide to write them an email:

Hello,

I placed an order last Saturday for two (2) 10-round 5.56 Gen3 Magpul PMAGS and I haven't heard anything from your company since. The order number is XXXX and the magazines are going to an address in XXXXXXXX, CA.

I have called the number on your website (321 437-9115) and left a voicemail and still have been unable to connect with anyone or find out the status of my order.

Are the mags in stock?

When will they ship?

Please respond to this email or call me at XXX XXX XXXX as soon as possible. Thank you.

1 day goes by and I get this response:

Hi XXXXX

Our shipping department is running behind due to the large volume of orders we are receiving. Your order will be leaving our facility next week. We appreciate your patience.

Have a great day!

this was close to 2 weeks ago and i havent seen or heard anything.

i have since followed up via email but havent gotten any response. i tried calling the number again and, of course, no one picked up.

anyone have experience with gotamag.com?

Got a Mag is good 2 go. My first CA rebuild kit shipped right out. My second order took 3 to 4 weeks. Hang in.

in case anyone was curious how this is going..my CC was charged on 6/3.

i sent an email in today asking for an order update. no response.

if i dont hear or see anything by the middle of next week i am going to start the chargeback process and report my experiences to the BBB.

Don't have an experince with the seller. But I did have the same experience with another out of state vendor. Granted this was at the height of buying spree.
I'd like to know what happens later on so ill tag

I bought a gun from Kentucky gun. Their website said they are three weeks behind. Before they shipped the first gun I ordered a second. The order number was over 1000 higher.
At exactly three weeks they shipped the first gun. And again three weeks later they shipped the second.
Point of the story. A lot of these places are just overrun with orders. Be patient. You have time to do the charge back. Give them a chance.

I went through the same thing with my second order... after two weeks I emailed and then called and left a message. Crickets. About a month later, the order arrived. I believe your patience will be rewarded.

I have a similar experience with them except they finally sent me some parts after 4 weeks that were the wrong parts. They order they sent me was worth far less than the amount I was charged. I've never gotten any responses to my emails and am planning to do a chargeback on my card if I don't hear from them soon. I would avoid them, they do not have items in stock despite what the website claims.

Sucks. But what can you do. Blame the gun grabbing idiots who are buying 90x of everything.

That company is anything but GTG, I had to dispute a charge with my bank after they never returned emails or answered the phone when I tried to follow up on an order I placed. Avoid this seller like the plague.

Cancelled my order with them a few weeks ago and my card was credited a few days later. No complaints there. They were selling the 10 round pmags for $21.99 and Brownell's now has them for $13.25. Ordered from Brownell's and they shipped them the same day. Win.
