Like I said earlier, it comes apart with 2 screws removed, and it goes back together with 2 screws, but if the AW laws went away I'd probably burn it anyway.

I have too many of those, as well as AR's, and probably everything else! I'm probably just bored and looking to do something new.

I'm sure criminals are up tonight concerned over the same matter. Be sure to do it correctly. Everyone's safety depends on where you place your thumb on your firearm. I know I won't be able to rest assured until this matter is resolved.

I'm so glad we have full time legislators to protect us from the evil placement of thumbs.

Sorry, I actually know and understand most of the laws that govern this land. When I don't, I refrain from exposing my by not making ignorant posts like yours. Instead, I ask questions and learn a little more. Of course, there is nothing wrong with having a colorful imagination such as yours if you are capable of understanding the difference between fiction and non fiction. Finally, if I ever end up with a 250lb celly, I won't sweat it too much. I'll have 40-50lbs on him and, I'll get the bottom bunk within a day or two. It'll only take wetting the top bunk once to assure that!

It actually would REQUIRE a PG! What a shame to have cut up an impossible to find U-15 stock and turn +$250 into a couple pieces of kindling instead of reading a little first.
It seems like some custom add-ons to the lower might work, but I wouldn't want to risk ruining a pistol lower.

The U-15 stock comes apart by removing 2 screws. Why does everyone assume that it had to be cut up to make it look the way it did in the picture I had taken?

If you can change the location of the magwell to be inside the PG, you'll be on to something.

I own 2 U-15 stocks which don't separate. You must have a different generation than I have.

Now it makes sense. I bought mine in 2007. When did you get yours?

It seems that if you create a trigger "extension" in front of the magwell and cover up the actual trigger, it could work. A prototype wouldn't look too pretty, but it could be cleaned up later. The only issue with that route would be if somebody had small hands. Then using the magwell as a grip would be tough. It did feel ok to me.

Maybe I'll buy a cheap 80% lower to experiment on.

The problem with a "featureless" AR pistol is lets go ahead and say you successfully mount a trigger on the magwell.
Again, you can't use a handguard, so where does your support hand go? Right on the barrel?

You would still need to get your thumb around the mag well. Just because you can grasp the mag well, does not make it a pistol grip.

Yes, I know. There's no pretty solution, except getting rid of the bad laws!
