    Lowest Transfer Price FFL?

I'm looking to have an Aero Precision stripped lower shipped to an FFL in the Los Angeles area (I live downtown so the closer the better). So far the best deal I've found is at RifleGear in the OC ($75 transfer $25 background/registration). I'm a first time buyer and did not expect the transfer prices to be so high (I was told $175 total at Oak Tree). Do any of you know of an FFL with a lower transfer + registration fee?

Because of the high fees I'm slowly considering just purchasing a lower at the FFL instead of getting one shipped

Stripped lower's are widley available from most LGS and are in and out of stock weekly. After all fee's are collected, it's not worth it. You're better off not ordering online and going in to the LGS. You'll be saving the FFL fee's. Plus you'll be supporting LGS and helping them stay in biz as well.

I've used straightline tactical in anaheim for a rifle that I could't obtain locally. Think their fee's were $35 transfer $25 DROS and any tax that hasn't been collected.

Just got back from Straightline today and they charge $45 transfer / $25 DROS.

Straightline Tactical in Anaheim did mine for $70 total.

If you purchase it from a Dealer, you will have to pay tax on it.

Does anyone have experience with this ffl? With no address listed, I'm assuming it's by appointment only. Sketchy or legit?

I'm curious too. And there's no Yelp page/reviews...

[QUOTE=tarheelsauce;11562757]I'm looking to have an Aero Precision stripped lower shipped to an FFL in the Los Angeles area (I live downtown so the closer the better). So far the best deal I've found is at RifleGear in the OC ($75 transfer $25 background/registration). I'm a first time buyer and did not expect the transfer prices to be so high (I was told $175 total at Oak Tree). Do any of you know of an FFL with a lower transfer + registration fee?

Because of the high fees I'm slowly considering just purchasing a lower at the FFL instead of getting one oaktree still might be your best bet. Have you contacted AEGIS traders in Burbank? Did a ppt there recently and it was a breeeeze. Not sure about transfer prices though.
Out if curiosity, ate you a member at oaktree? They have a tendency to lower prices for members

Nope, I am not a member at Oak Tree. I actually decided to just go with Straightline Tactical based on the recommendations here as they seem to have a good price and are very responsive and helpful. Went in the other day to do some paperwork. Can't wait
