    BCM 16 inch BFH accuracy?

For those who have a BCM 16 inch BFH mid length upper(non-free floated barrel) or complete rifle, what kind of accuracy are you getting at 100 yards?

Pics of both rifles and targets are always good too.

I have two bcm bfh 16" middy uppers. One is free floated, and one is not. Both run flawlessly. Sorry I do not have any pictures of targets. I sold my mount and scope I was goin to run on one of my builds. So both are shot iron sights right now. At 50 yards I can stack holes on top of each other. Haven't tried shooting out to 100yards for accuracy. But in a standing position I can easily pick off clays at 100. I read a lot before buying either of them and the most common answers where .75 moa- 1.5 moa all day long.

I have a 16" BCM BFH middy mated to a JD Machine lower. Plain-Jane Magpul MOE handguards (non free-floating). Lots of extras on the lower ... but nothing that improves accuracy, with the exception of a Geissele SD-3G fire control group.

Here's pics of what mine does at 100 yards with Nosler HPBT 69-grain projectiles:

A load with Barnes 70-grain TTX projectiles showed similar results.

        Shooting conditions were:

~60*F, 25% humidity, 15-20 MPH headwind at about 11:00 position. Fired from bench using load-out bag as support; no rear bags. Aimpoint PRO optic.

        Best Loads:

        Nosler: 24.5G Varget, 2.260 COAL @ ~ 2684 FPS +/- 8 FPS standard deviation.

        Barnes: 24.3G Varget, 2.250 COAL @ ~ 2659 FPS +/- 11 FPS standard deviation.

Thanks for the input fellows, and great pics!

snowdog- That is some very impressive shooting, especially for using a red dot!

I have one that's very accurate out of the box. Unfortunately I don't have any targets saved.

California, where all of the good stuff is banned, registered, regulated or prohibited, yay.....

Law abiding firearm owners have no chance in this state.

I have a BCM LW BFH that gets about 5 inch groups at 100 standing.
              Have a good day!

No pictures but 2" groups yesterday in the wind at Los Altos Rod and Gun. I was shooting PMC Bronze 55 grain ammo. I have a free floated handguard and a 1-4 power scope.

I have the exact same upper and here are a few hundred yard groups, working up a load.

A buddy and I were shooting 12" steel plates at 300+ yards no problem. Great upper.

Thank God people are posting real life groupings. Always drives me nuts when people say their chrome lined, mass produced barrel groups at 1/2 moa out of a semi. :P

                        Nice shooting guys.

Amen. The internet might explode now that we have so many actual targets and actual shooters in one place.
