It had been a while.... but IIRC.... NO.... but it uses the stardard CAR stock spring and buffer....

Just to answer everyone's questions, Its the production model and I got it from denny from www.global-tactical.com. It comes with its own proprietary buffer tube and does not include buffer or spring. Install was a piece of cake, no need to mess around with a castle nut or anything. The price was $255, kind of high considering the street price of these are supposed to go for around $240-230 but after thinking about it for a bit I looked around to see if anyone had these for sale and found a few listed on sites, but were not for sale yet. I figured most likely when they would go for sale, they would be sold out quick so I decided to purchase it along with some other things so shipping was free.

thats a shame....i'll be happy to put your ubr to good use on my lower cuase i jsut heard from Eiko @ riflegear that my upper is in. lol

Brownells has the Magpul UBR in stock now as well. The price is high at $265 and they only have black but someone might be interested.

I just ordered another one from brownells the other night. $226, cheapest I seen anywhere. I jumped on it expecting it to sell out, but it seems they have quite a few in stock.
