    IMI 223 mags

Anyone tried those IMI 223 mags for the AR platform? Palmetto has them for really cheap now. How do they measure up to Magpul or Tapco?

I got a few a while back - they are a little flimsy, but good beaters (and you won't cry if you lose one)

I primarily use Lancer and Troy - both are far better quality than the IMI... but for the price why not grab a few...

They work flawless. But like lbdamned mentioned, they do feel a lil flimsy. They feel thin and really light. But like I said they worked perfect. 30 round mag dumps problem free (out in AZ)

For the price and quality ide buy these for a couple bucks more, usgi with magpul followers can't go wrong. And if needed, 10 round mag blocks are readily available online for a few bucks that drop right in.

Skip the IMI. Go USGI + Magpul follower. I used to use Lancer and Magpul mags exclusively. Now, I've gotten to really like the USGI+Magpul follower. USGI standard follower SUCKS. Now, I have 20 USGI mags. 30 Magpul and 10 Lancers.

For some reason, some of my rifles have issues with the lancer metal lip and on occasion F2F.

Ordered a few. We will see how well they work. Israelis generally make fine stuff.
