Ammo is fine but three box limit, plus shipping plus tax puts it at .75 per round for me, lil too much.

You have to be real careful. Some of those deals are a one box limit, which totally hoses the cost per round.

3 box limit plus shipping and tax comes out to 76 cents per round. Not so sweet.....

Not to get on an ammo price conversation but prices are dropping FAST. The big retailers needs to catch up. My LSG is selling AE 223 for $62 per 100 rnd box and I've been able to find it locally for as low as 52 cents per round.

            Getting there.....

Local Bass Pro usually get those in stock, but Walmart is cheaper when they have them.

I hit 2 gun stores in Mariposa,
wanted about $19 box 22 mag,
I told them I would not go along with that kind of price gouging,
and i wont be back to those stores again

Checking out Bass, their price for .223 was pretty good,
mostly out of ammo in general otherwise,
looking for 22 mag I saw Cheaper than Dirt asking $49.95 for a box of 50 rds-very last time I will even go to their website-bastods

Horrible price, however, you can't even find retail .22 in the greater LA area unless you're waiting for the store to open on the day they get their truck - and even that is no guarantee...sometimes, there's none on the truck.

But there's plenty of 22 to find online and from private sellers. There's a TON of excess stash out there. Now that larger caliber ammo is getting cheaper, people will unload all of the 22 they've hoarded.

I still have not paid more than $.45/rnd and am still averaging .35/rnd for copper. I have bought about 600 rnds of Tulaammo for less than $.25/rnd.

Ill be happy when I can walk into my local Walmart and see something other than a basically empty shelf. The only thing I ever see is Win 300, 7MM and 410.
