A few times you see his maglock device was too far back from the mag release (1:18 mark), then the maglock is back in place (around the 1:45 mark). Then at the 2:09 mark, the maglock is again to far back from the mag release, then at the 2:29 mark (before he begins to fire), the maglock looks to be back in place.

I wonder if he can be prosecuted? I mean he did illegally modify his rifle in to an AW by disabling the maglock...

Yup. He is breaking the law in his video. He should turn himself in, being the concerned citizen he is.

He also didn't destroy the receiver per BATF requirements.
