My new AR has a Magpul CTR stock and measures 31 inches with the stock in it's shortest position. Do I still need to pin my stock?

If it uses detachable magazines, then yes, it needs to be fixed (pin) in place.

If it uses a fixed 10 or less round magazine, then no, it does not need to be fixed in place.
