Guys here is a question I have. Is AK-74 style muzzle device a muzzle break or a flash hider for a 7.62mm rifle. I know AK-74 is a 5.45mm but what about 7.62mm. If they make the hole too big then I guess its a hider right. I'm a bit confused on installing a AK74 style muzzle break on a 7.62mm rifle and making sure that it's not a flash hider.

It's a brake, not a hider. -
shoot an ak with that brake and you`ll see is not a flash hider

The one for 7.62mm rifles needs to be a 14 x 1mm Left Hand thread.make sure you get a 7.62. check copes.
