Well, I finished my AR and boy what pleasure to look at! I went 100% Stag...A2 Upper W/1.9 twist and 16" barrel and flip up ARMS #40 sight, Stag adjustable butt and the Lower I went with the standard Stag trigger group and kit which encluded the grip.

Came out so nice I can't wait to go break it in!

Great build, my M4 build is very similar. Is that the Del-Ton special M4 upper on yours?

I went 100% Stag...A2 Upper, Stag adjustable butt and Lower all Stag. I figured I couldn't go wrong with parts matching and all.

The only two things that caused a problem were the Hammer spring was sent backwards and the trigger guard pin was a bear.

I have never even shot an AR HAHA...Do these like to be oiled well and wiped out good or does it matter for cycling with out jamming.

This thing is as bad a boy as it gets haha !

Be sure to oil the carrier bolt assembly in order to reduce the chance for a double-feed. I put about 1" x 1/16" 'bead' of oil on it and work it back and forth. This is probably too much, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything.

Be sure to oil the carrier bolt assembly in order to reduce the chance for a double-feed. I put about 1" x 1/16" 'bead' of oil on it and work it back and forth. This is probably too much, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything.

You need to grease the Carrier rails with a light coat top and bottom rails. Also add a little grease to the underside of the carrier where the hammer comes into contact. Do this everytime you clean it. If you don't lube those rails you will have a failure to feed problem. Or the bolt carrier itself will not travel far enough forward
