I thought FFLs couldn't outright refuse to do a PPT? Maybe someone should let them know that

I drove 2.5 hours to do a transfer. The guy behind the counter said the owner refuses to do ppt on "ARs and AKs". I asked him to call the owner and ask him if we could do the transfer since the buyer called and made arrangements the day before. The employee said, "no because he will just yell at me for calling".

Drop the dime on them to DOJ. They need education.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

TM has been a revolving door for staff and a space cadet magnet for at least the past decade and a half.

Why not RMB in Milpitas? They stuck their necks out for us before and led the way to "normalizing" AR and AK patterned rifles again.

Let me guess, the level of rudeness and unprofessional behavior is about on par with minimum wage employees and can't be fully described in less than 1500 words? Trust me, plenty of us have learned our lesson about going there. Oddly enough, because you weren't actually able to do the PPT you've only seen part of the TM experience.

Next time go to Reed's, Annies Guns, Metal Dog Tactical, or one of other shops in the area.

                      TM bunch of FUDs

Even if they accepted your PPT, it would take 2 hours to complete the transaction LOL

They made us wait for quite a while before telling us they wouldn't do it. We told them what it was, we showed it to them and it was in the factory box. They told we would have to wait because people that come in to buy a gun get to move ahead of us in line. They eventually told us that they wouldn't transfer for us and that they made us wait in line because they thought the rifle was a 22 long rifle which they will transfer. I was shocked.

You are actually lucky. They saved you time and suffering through their process. The last time (and only) time I did a transfer there it took 2.5 hours (not including wait time) and 4 different employees. It was terrible.

This has been true for the longest time. Sucks that they wasted your time by making you wait and not telling you upfront.

The one time I did a transfer there, it took over 2 hours with multiple people looking over the paperwork. No exagerration. And the guy giving the hangun safety test was a total a-hole.
