Trigger not resetting

What might cause the trigger on my AR to not reset after a shot is fired and the bolt cycles? I squeeze off a round and I need to physically push the trigger forward with the tip of my finger to reset it. In case anyone asks, standard DPMS lpk with single stage trigger.

Is the disconnector spring installed correctly?

Yep, its the trigger spring......mounted backwards Ugh.

Sorry to bug you guys with such stupidity, but at least your answers got me to look at it again more closely.

One of the AR's I purchased from a CalGuns guy had the same issue. I had to put some side pressure on the trigger to get it to reset. You couldn't tell it was jacked up unless you shot it or cycled the FCG with the upper off. it was put together right I looked the springs. Probably trying to grind it down some.To bad he failed to mention that. Probably why he sold it to me for $600. I put a new SD3G in it from a group buy at $180 and she runs like a champ.
