Is it worth the money for a mil surplus bakelite mag for $50 bucks???
i guess they r expensive cause they r hard to find. at least that's what the website stated. just wanted ur opinions

I don't think you should may more than 20$ for ak mags. Back in the days they were about 12$ for surplus mags

They look cool, but I think $50 is a bit too much.

He asked about Bakelite mags not generic steel ones. Bakelite were never at that price.
Supply and demand, also considering Bakelite haven't been made for over 25-30 or so years.
And before anyone else jumps in, they are just as good or the best mags ever made. 100% reliable, light and have very durable construction.

With that said, I would never buy any, not my intended use.

I've always used Tapco mags at $9 a pop. Haven't experienced one single mag related malfunction.
