Let me know if either of you guys find something. JP Ent has the enhanced bolts in stock. But looking for a chrome carrier..... I don't see Midway getting a genuine chrome DPMS BCG in stock anytime soon.....

          nickel boron carrier

With all the panic buys I could not find a bolt carrier, ended getting this one from gunbroker. I believe he is the manufacturer for Harris Tactical.

So far, the nickel boron works as well as my original parkerized DPMS bolt carrier assembly

That guy on gunbroker wouldn't return emails asking about who is the manufacturer or any technical details. If anyone comes across a chrome or Ni-Boron carrier please let us know. Did Young Manuf. ever make 308 carriers?

I'm running the LR308 DPMS chrome carrier with phosphate bolt, its reliable, accurate, and very easy to clean. head spaced perfectly with a Fulton/Criterion match barrel. Later when needed i will replace the bolt with a JP enhanced.

I have a JP bolt and a phosphate carrier. I couldn't find a chrome carrier at a reasonable price. Hopefully it looks like things are starting to come in stock, slowly.

Harris Tactical's web site says "in stock", I just ordered one last night for my son's 308. I ordered one for mine about two weeks ago and got an email last Saturday saying it has been shipped, it was at my house Monday! I had one on order with JP for two months, gave up.

Improper NiB coating can flake off. Just read some of complaints on the RGun's NiB bolt carriers. Whereas nitriding (melonite) won't as it's not a coating but a heat treatment.

Well, I emailed Young several times over the past two months and they never returned my email.
