    I always find them in gun shops.

      CLP=Cleaner, Lubricant, Protectant.

      FP10 is another alternative. It's marketed as a Lubricant, Protectant.
      Ted, is FP-10 purely just a lubricant and protectant? Or does it have any cleaning properties as well?

          Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

            guns shops, Big 5, Walmart, Midwayusa.com. Stuff is quite common. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

              FP-10 has detergent in it, zinc alkyd dithiophosphate IIRC. but that keeps the gun clean and doesn't do much to clean an already dirty gun.

                    For people in the Bay area, I get mine from Reed's Indoor range in Santa Clara.

                      Turners usually has Breakfree CLP in stock as well. I switched from that to SLIP-2000, I like the SLIP better, but its harder to find. No gunshops seem to carry it, but you can order it from their website.

                        Im gonna have to try some SLIP.. ive been hearing more and more positive things about their products. I havent tried their lubes, but their carbon remover is simply incredible.

                        Just soak your part for a few hours then hit it with a brush. it's amazing how much crud it removes..

                          CLP leaves a residue and has a expected shelf life of 5 years...

                          It works, but I don't use it anymore. I use either gun oil or RIG depending on my needs, both works better, IMO.

                            1+ for slip2000. i think it does a better job of cleaning than clp.
