    Attaching Rails

I have a bunch of rail attachments but the hardware doesn't fit, the screws are too short and many of the threaded plates are stripped. Where can I find the threaded plates?

    Thanks

It would help to say what handguard system and who made the rails.
A link to the manufacturer of each product would also help...

I was hoping there was a generic answer, but good point.

I changed the handguard on my ACR Enhanged to the polymer handguard:

The rails I have no clue what make they are but they are aluminum, the T-nuts strip out super easy so now I'm looking for something that looks like this:

Is there another way to connect the rails?

Are the t nuts steel or aluminum?
Those look like steel to me and I know where I can get steel t nuts just like that if I knew what thread size they were...

          They're steel & Got some!!!

I was talking to a friend from work and he knew right away what they were. They are used in 80/20 extrusions, kinda like an open source erector set. He had some in his toolbox and I was able to get the rails installed.

hey are used in 80/20 extrusions.
The 80/20 ones will be black while standard weld nuts (what they actually are) will be plain steel finish so they can be welded easily.

Those look exactly like what the Magpul rail segments look like. But the ones Magpul makes are polymer and not aluminum.
