bolt catch issue

so i think im having an issue with the bolt catch on my NFA LW-15 build.

i loaded up an empty mag and pulled back on the charging handle.

the bolt was caught fine, but as soon as i release my magazine with the BB, the bolt immediately closes.

any suggestions on what might be the issue? probably have to replace it huh?

sounds like a worn bolt catch to me. The mag in the gun adds enough up pressure on the catch to keep it engaged, but as soon as the mag drops free the pressure taken off the BHO catch causes the bolt to come forward

Have to agree with the above. Worn or out of spec bolt catch, or even improperly installed. If it has a BAD lever that could also be the problem.
