You know I normally do not like the looks of those rails but it looks really slick on that rifle Mike.

          It's the M93.
ARMS rails are usually about as useful as tits on a boar.
It's only the oversized gas pistons that make them even semi-useful.
Avoid VFG's as they are really spongy when mounted on the plastic bottom half of an SIR.

I would open up a Troy handguard to fit over the piston if someone were to force me to own a piston AR.

Barrel, sight and trigger work on most pistols and shotguns.
          Most work performed while-you-wait.

Wow, for some reason the rail is making me think M240 (I don't know why!).

How can you say they suck, i have the exact rails, they work fine very robust and they make the rifle look so darn evil like the Devils stick.

                      because i've had them myself.

they are and I sold them the next day.
tried out a casv, 100x's less weight and cumbersome so bought a couple for my carbine length uppers.

So because you have them, they are automatically good?
For comparison, what other rails do you have so we can further understand your level of experience with rail systems.

I have installed SIR's and about every other rail system made.
                            SIR's suck.

When they first came out, they were good, because there was almost nothing else to compare to.
As soon as better options appeared, everyone stopped using SIR's.

There are so many reasons the SIR is a horrible rail system.

There's only one why it's cool (looks).

                              Just say, "No, SIR!"
