    Quick AR question for Builders!

I bought the following parts via private party:

A2 stock with buffer tube screwed into it.
    Buffer
    Buffer spring.

Does this constitute a complete stock set ready to attach to a stripped lower, or are there other pieces needed?

    Thank you!

Yes, that's all you need. If you're using an adjustable stock the you'll need the above parts also.

No castle nut, sling swivel, or locking plate needed on A2 stock setups.

Run the buffer tube into the receiver, make sure the buffer retainer is installed before you're all the way in. Then torque the tube on; use blue Loctite if you need it for peace of mind.

Once the tube is on, you can put the stock on and secure it with the associated screw.

After that, drop your buffer spring and buffer into the tube. Make sure they're retained by the buffer retainer. And you're good to go.

Thanks to everyone. It is for an A2 setup so it sounds like I have everything!

Dont forget you use a spacer at the end of the tube with an A2 stock. Sometimes its stuck down in the stock, just leave it.

Check the above. Make sure the spacer is there.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
