I use the Tubb buffer spring in my Service Rifle and the Tubb 20 round springs in my USGI 20 round straight bodies.

Do they work any better than regular springs? I have no clue. Have I had any problems with the springs? No, they work fine.

I've got one of his firing pins and springs in my M70

Like ocabj, I don't know if it's any better. When I got the M70, the safety and fp had been bubba'd. I needed a replacement part.

I should probably note that the current Tubb CS springs I'm using date back to 2006 and I have yet to replace the Tubb buffer spring nor the mag springs in my 20 round bodies. They do have a lot of compressions, since I've been using the same eight 20-rounders for matches and never cycled them out with other ones (or changed out springs).

The new flat wire buffer spring is too strong imo, and my AR loads are already on the warm side. I went back to the older round wire spring and my rifle cycled normal again.

The mag springs are good for replacing worn out GI springs. You should lightly oil them since they are prone to rust if exposed to moisture.

Thr Winchester system is really good but you need to know what you're doing and have access to machine shop equipment to install them correctly.

What is the typical life cycle of regular mag springs?

Is it your particular ar that has trouble with his springs? Or is it cause ur running hotter loads?

Have you guys tried his extractor/ejector spring?

It seems the extractor spring you don't need the rubber part. I'm looking into getting his package deal.

Just wanted your input before dropping 52 dollars.

The issue I was having with his flat wire buffer spring was short stroking and the bcg not locking back during single round firing. I wonder what kind of nuclear loads people are running that would warrant an even stronger spring than the conventional round wire.

I usually do the normal 55gr or maybe 62

Hows about 24.8gr of Varget pushing 80gr JLK VLDs out of a 24" tube?

Had his Flat CS wire and the CWS with the tungsten insert.

I'm using a tubb flatwire carbine/rifle spring along with a spikes Heavy H2 buffer and BCM bcg only put in 200 rounds of pmc bronze .223 so far but no complaints or feed/extract issues also on a 16" carbine length gas system.

Nope only tubb part I'm using is the buffer spring rest of the springs are just generic (PSA).
