Is It A Grip?

I was messing around in the garage and made this block it's comfortable but would the DOJ consider it a pistol grip. What do you guys think?

I would say yes, it is a pistol grip. Too close for my comfort, but IANAL.

Unfortunately, it allows the thumb to go around so they'd probably call it a pistol grip. But IANAL.

The web between the index finger and thumb can be wrapped around it below the trigger line, so yeah I would consider it a PG too.

You need to install a fin to keep the web of your hand from going around the block. I have some Monsterman grips and while I do like them I still desire something more comfortable so here is an attempt I made by laminating some scrap 3/8 inch plywood together and started carving. The grip is very comfortable, legal, and was free.
