      You are assuming that people only want the most power. If that were true, then just get a 308 or larger.

      There are other factors. 300 BLK uses normal 5.56mm magazines. The ammunition costs less than other alternative calibers. It has much less flash and blast. You can reload it with cheap pulled 30 caliber bullets. You can make the brass form free range-pickup 223 brass.

        300 BLK is going to be the 40 S&W of the rifle world - one of the very few successfully cartridge introductions.

          They suck they have a 1/4 of the power and range of a 308 and the ammo cost almost 3x as much when you can even find it!
