Big 5 has remington and pmc .223 and 5.56mm for $13 a box at the Reseda Blvd location. You may ask why I am sharing this info, thats because I cleaned them out of .22lr and I felt bad .Btw I was there 10 min ago when I bought the .22lr. Let the rat race begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just curious, what are (were) they selling the .22lr for, so I can hit them next time they get it in stock?

how many counts of felony did you do with the .22 ammo @ 500 a piece?

dont they just limit you to 1 box? at least the one in topanga said 1 box per person

I bought remington match .22lr for $6 for a box of 50 and winchester super x for $10 for a box of 100. I think it is a four or five box limit at the reseda store. Lowkey I am one of their best customers and I party somtimes with the manager so they may have forgot about that ammo limit when I bought the .22lr .

I was able to get some 556. I scrambled a road rager who lives with me working by the store and they secured us 5 boxes. That's the limit. She said its not "Stocked" but they have some more left. At least I can get this rifle off furlough.

Haha its not my fault that I go to school right next to that Big 5. Also the smith and wesson mp15-22 was getting very sad. Anyway I remember so many people that used to whine and cry over big 5's ammo prices, now where else cam you find .223 and 5.56 that cheap?

The Big 5 near me in San Jose gets their shipments on Fridays...always a crapshoot...

I bought 2 cases just before the craze and paid 345 per case of 1000. They were federal 223 and I shot it all because I had 3 new rifles I had to test out. Not a day goes by I don't kick myself in the rear for not hanging on to at least a case but back then my local shop had about 20 cases. Still can't bring myself to pay more than 40 cents a round
