Whats up with Serbu

Okay, I have called Mark a couple of times with nobody answering, and never any call back. So what is going on with the 50A if anyone is in the loop?

they seem to be on vacation or something.

2 weeks ago, they called to leave a message saying my rifle shipped.

i called back to asked for a tracking number. all last week, no reply.

last friday it came in and i registered on their BB. but each account needs an admin to authorized and i've been waiting since...

as for 50A, when i shipped my unfinished receiver 3 weeks ago, they couldnt give a definite date, just the usual "later this year"...

On your 50 BMG registration, what did you guys put down for model of your Serbu 50 Semi?

The "receiver" (tube) says BFG-50. But I'm pretty sure that is not the model designation Serbu will use for the 50 Semi.

Mark mentioned a while back that he'd be out of town doing some business in another state. (somewhere 'in the area' to Knob Creek)

So far as AB-50 registration... put 'BFG-50' for any of the models. That's what I did....

Serbu website says BFG-50A in summer sometime. I registered by as BFG-50A and paper work showed up as 50. I contacted DOJ and they are changing it to 50A

Ack, I put down BFG-50... should I have DOJ change it to BFG-50A? I was just hoping that Mark could just exclude the A from my model number?

No idea, but i used what was on the website 50A.... DOJ had no problems changing it. The lady commented that thought i made a mistake since others all using 50.

I have one. The model number is engraved on the receiver. Something VT...

I just copied it to the reg. form. DOJ has no problem on it.

As far as the CA regsitration, .... the semi-auto is officially the BFG-50A, I consider the "A" to be a "sub" model designator. So "BFG-50" is close enough.

hmmm....so does that mean I can send Mark my reg. bolt action Serbu BFG-50 and have it turned into a semi-auto 50A? thanks for the info.
