    UPS and shipping a rifle.

I was under the impression that I could ship a long gun via ground through UPS. Just got off of the phone with a UPS rep and she told me that I have to ship it overnight and that I also have to take it to a main shipping hub.

Is she wrong or am I wrong?

Handguns must be overnighted. Ground is perfectly fine for rifles.
You have to take it to the hub; no shipping firearms from The UPS Store.

Handguns must be shipped overnight according to rules of the common carriers like UPS, FedEx etc.

Handguns shipped by A FFL using USPS can be shipped Priority mail or Express mail from what my FFL tells me.

It does not have to be overnighted.

I shipped my rifle. Had to make a UPS account online, free tho.

Just box it up, print a label, and have the UPS man pick it up at your door.

Make sure to insure it and require an adult signature.

You sure it isn't federal law too, Sam? I remember reading something on the F-Troop website about handguns and overnight but this could be wrong.
Also - I wasn't aware FFLs could do that. Thanks for the info.
